Pastor Steven Anderson - Coward, Abuser, Wannabe Cult Leader, Etc.

This is the first time I have ever needed to use an "Etc." in the title of a post, as the "bad-but-undeniably-true" titles which can be applied to Steven L. Anderson of Faithful Word Baptist Church are numerous. Also applicable would be "idolater", "misogynist", "science-denialist", "false prophet", and, of course, subjectively, "obnoxious".

Steven Anderson - Coward

The primary defining trait of Steven Anderson, Roger Jimenez of Verity Baptist Church, and every other pastor in league with them (listing them here would be foolish - they frequently denounce each other, whereupon Pope Anderson excommunicates them - see Manly Perry and Adam Fanin, for instance), is their astounding, overwhelming, cowardice.

Anderson has stated multiple times that he is very anti-debate, and as a result, the NIFB doesn't make of habit of debating other denominations, worldviews, or experts from various fields of science which clash with the NIFB's view of young earth creationism.

The reason for this is simple - Anderson's views cannot exist outside of his dogmatic echo chamber. His adult children, who thankfully, have turned their backs on him, demonstrate that. The scores of former NIFB members who now denounce Anderson (mostly young men, who finally grow up), demonstrate that.

Steven Anderson, you don't debate because:

Steven Anderson - you, and your thousands of sermons detailing your worldview, are a joke. If you debated someone in a moderated setting, you would be exposed as a pseudointellectual, who actually has not responded to even entry-level rebuttals to your positions. You don't debate, because you're a coward, who has lived a life of sin against reason, in the name of a false religion, which you invented. Your beliefs are false, everyone who agrees with you is deceived, and your entire life to this point has been wasted advocating for and justifying beliefs which do not stand up to scrutiny (so you pretend you don't have to deal with scrutiny - works intra-cult, and nowhere else).

And, though I have zero hope that this will ever reach Steven Anderson, it is my sincere hope that it reaches some current NIFB members, to which I would say this - continue to learn, and scrutinize. Scrutinize me, and Anderson, and make a determination for yourself, according to who aligns more closely with reality. Study outside of Anderson's circle, and in short order, you will leave, because you will see that he and his doctrines are indefensible. The only way to stay inside is to do what he does, and refuse to engage - which does not make one right, rather, it makes them profoundly ignorant, cowardly, and dishonest.
